Your Products Deserve More Than a Marketplace Listing

Durham Ecommerce Web Design That Sells While You Sleep

You’ve got the products. You’ve got the customers. What you don’t have is a website that makes buying from you as easy as it should be. When your online store works the way it’s supposed to, orders come in whether you’re at the shop, at the DBAP, or sound asleep.

You Have Products People Want. Your Website Just Makes Them Hard to Buy.

Selling online should feel like an extension of your business, not a second job. But most small business owners we work with are stuck between clunky marketplace listings that eat their margins and DIY website builders that look like they were assembled during a lunch break.

Marketplace Fees Are Eating Your Profit

Etsy, Amazon, and Square take a cut of every sale. You're building their brand while paying for the privilege. Your own store keeps 100% of your margins where they belong.

Your Current Store Frustrates Buyers

Slow load times. Confusing checkout. Products that are hard to find. Every friction point is a customer who almost bought from you but didn't. And they won't come back to try again.

You Can't Manage Inventory Without a Headache

Updating products, tracking stock, managing variants. If your current system requires a spreadsheet and a prayer, it's costing you time you could be spending on your actual business.

We Build Online Stores That Durham Businesses Actually Enjoy Running

We’ve been building websites since 1997, and ecommerce has been part of the work from the beginning. We know what makes a customer click ‘Add to Cart’ and what makes them close the tab. Whether your store needs WooCommerce for a full product catalog or FluentCart for a streamlined digital storefront, we’ll build the right solution for what you’re selling and who you’re selling it to.

What You Get

An Online Store That Does the Selling for You

Custom Storefront Design

Your online store should look and feel like an extension of your brand, not a generic template with a shopping cart bolted on. Every product page, category layout, and checkout screen is designed for your customers.

WooCommerce or FluentCart

WooCommerce for full-featured product catalogs with inventory management, shipping rules, and tax configuration. FluentCart for streamlined digital products, courses, and subscription-based businesses. We match the platform to what you sell.

Payment Gateway Integration

Stripe, PayPal, Square, or whatever your customers prefer. We configure secure payment processing so transactions happen smoothly and your money lands where it should.

Mobile-Optimized Shopping

Most of your customers will browse and buy on their phones. Every product page, cart, and checkout screen is built to convert on mobile, not just display.

Product Catalog Setup

We'll set up your initial product catalog with descriptions, images, categories, variants, and pricing. You'll know exactly how to add, edit, and manage products on your own after launch.

Shipping and Tax Configuration

Flat rate, weight-based, local pickup, or real-time carrier rates. We configure shipping rules that match how your business actually operates. Tax calculation included so you never have to do that math yourself.

Order Notification System

Automated emails for order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts. Your customers know exactly what's happening with their purchase and you know exactly when a new order comes in. Delivered through enterprise-grade email infrastructure for reliable inbox delivery.

60-Day Post-Launch Warranty

Broken product links, checkout hiccups, display issues. If we built it and something's off, we fix it. No charge for 60 days after your store goes live.

Projects Start At

$4,997

An online store has more moving parts than a standard website. Payment processing, inventory management, shipping logic, and tax calculations all need to work together. The final price depends on how many products you’re launching with, what platform fits your needs, and how complex your shipping and payment requirements are. After your discovery call, you’ll get a clear proposal with no hidden fees. Need additional work beyond your project scope? Our standard rate is $150/hr, or grab a 10-hour block for $1,000. Active plan members save up to 20%.

Every Day Without a Real Store Is a Day Your Products Sit Unsold

While you’re managing DMs and processing orders manually, your competitors have stores that take payments at 2am without anyone lifting a finger. That customer who found your product on Instagram and wanted to buy it right then? They needed a link to a store, not a ‘DM us to order.’ They’re gone. And they found someone with an Add to Cart button.

Picture Your Phone Buzzing With Order Notifications

Orders Come In Around the Clock

You wake up to three new orders that came in overnight. Your store did the selling while you were sleeping. That’s not a fantasy. That’s Tuesday for our ecommerce clients.

You Keep 100% of Your Margins

No marketplace fees. No platform commissions. No giving away 15% of every sale to someone else’s brand. Your store, your customers, your revenue.

Managing Products Takes Minutes, Not Hours

Adding a new product, updating a price, marking something sold out. What used to take a phone call to your old developer now takes you two minutes from your phone.

Common Questions

The Questions Every Store Owner Asks Before They Start

How much does an ecommerce website cost?

Store projects start at $4,997, which covers stores with up to 10 products. An online store has more moving parts than a standard website, including products, payments, shipping, and taxes, so the final price depends on your catalog size and what your store needs to do. You get one flat quote in writing before we start.

WooCommerce or FluentCart? How do I know which one I need?

It depends on what you’re selling and how you run your business. WooCommerce is the workhorse for larger catalogs and complex shipping needs, while leaner setups can move faster with a lighter cart. On our discovery call we’ll tell you which one fits, and why, in plain English.

How long does it take to launch an online store?

Most stores launch in ten to twelve weeks, and depending on complexity it may take longer. The biggest variables are your product catalog and content. If your product photos and descriptions are ready, things move quickly. If not, we’ll send you our content guide for the writing and help you plan the photos.

Can I manage the store myself after launch?

That’s the whole point. We build your store so adding products, changing prices, and running sales is something you can do yourself without calling a developer. Before launch we walk you through everything, and you’ll have it down in an afternoon.

Do you handle payment processing setup?

Yes. We set up your payment processing, connect it to your store, and test it with real transactions before launch. You’ll be able to take cards, and options like Apple Pay and Google Pay, from day one.

What about shipping?

We configure your shipping zones, rates, and rules so customers see accurate costs at checkout. Flat rate, free shipping thresholds, local pickup, whatever fits how you actually fulfill orders.

Can you migrate my existing store from Shopify or another platform?

Yes, we migrate stores from Shopify and other platforms regularly. Products, customers, and order history come with you, and we manage the cutover so your store never disappears from the internet mid-move.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

You call us and we fix it. Every store we build is backed by our 60-day warranty, so if something we built breaks in the first two months, the fix is on us. Beyond that, our Website Health Plan keeps your store updated, backed up, and monitored. Downtime costs you money, so we treat it that way.
